How to Maintain Your PWR-Foil eFoil in Summer: Essential Best Practices to Adopt
How to Maintain Your PWR-Foil eFoil in Summer: The Right Habits to Adopt.
The right habits to ride (for a long time) with peace of mind
A clear, no-stress guide to taking care of your PWR-Foil this summer.
Summer is approaching, sessions are lining up, the spots are buzzing... and your eFoil is clearly going to see some action.
But between two sunset rides, good maintenance makes all the difference.
No panic, no stress.
? Here’s the PWR-Foil guide, in a simple and laid-back version, to keep your gear in top shape (and under warranty), without spending your whole vacation on it.
The sun: yes for riding. No for storage.
We love riding in the sun. It’s beautiful, it warms the water, it boosts dopamine.
But once the session is over, you need to quickly put your eFoil… in the shade.
- Boards can warp, blister, or crack due to heat.
- The mast’s electronic components are sensitive to overheating.
- Lithium-ion batteries don’t like high temperatures.
? The right habit: after each session, rinse, dry, then store in the shade, in a cool, dry, and ventilated place.
A happy eFoil is a cool eFoil between sessions ?

The right habits after each session (daily maintenance)
After each ride, take 5 to 10 minutes to pamper your PWR-Foil:
What to check:
- The overall condition of the board and hydrofoil
- The power cables and their connectors
- The sealing gaskets
- The screws
What to do:
- Always rinse with fresh water
- Clean the power connectors
- Carefully dry the battery connectors
- Dry the remote before recharging
- Lubricate screws and gaskets with marine grease
Why?
Because salt water, sand, and the sun love to put your gear to the test.
What to do every 10 rides (or each month)
To disassemble:
- The hydrofoil (from the board)
- The complete airplane: fuselage, mast base, front wing, and stabilizer
To check:
- The condition of the board
- The structural integrity
For REVO AIR models: a soapy water test can reveal a subtle leak.
⚠️ Never use alcohol or solvents! Prefer gentle and appropriate products.

A real check-up every 100 rides or once a year
On the agenda:
- Technical inspections
- Watertightness
- Safety adjustments
- Battery and electronics check
To be done only by an authorized partner or in our PWR-Foil workshops.
In summary: ride light, maintain easy
- Less stress, more fun
- A machine that always performs
- Extended longevity
- Warranty preserved
