Behind the scenes at PWR-Foil: 24h inside the world of electric gliding24h Inside PWR-Foil

A day with the people who build your best sessions

Technical team

7:54 AM – It starts early. And strong.

While many are still sleeping, François is already in the workshop, coffee in hand, focused on the final resin layer applied yesterday to a custom board. The shape is perfect — and the finish must be too.

Next door, in the after-sales workshop, Zak already has his hands inside a board awaiting repair, while Clément handles the first customer emails and calls — headset on, smile in his voice.
John is checking the battery packs: voltage, charge, rotation. Everything must be ready for the day’s departures.

As they pass through the workshops, Sam, Gaëtan and Chris take time to greet everyone.
A handshake, a wink, a word for each — and above all, a quick check:
“Production meeting scheduled? After-sales point too? Photo shoot confirmed for 5 PM?”
Everyone confirms, the day's priorities are aligned. Energy is flowing. Let’s go.

It’s 8:12 AM, and the PWR-Foil machine is already running at full speed.

8:57 AM – In the office, coffee meets ideas.

The rest of the team arrives.
Loïc is already jotting down an idea for the blog after “dreaming all night about a new thing to code” (true story).
Stessy is going through the socials with her usual coffee/brioche/DMs routine.
Gillian opens her Illustrator files, while Thomas sorts through the previous day’s footage — “This sunset is made for a reel!”

Elsewhere in the office, Alinette (our beloved Aline) is calmly and cheerfully answering the first quotes while unveiling her homemade snack of the day: yogurt with apples, berries, and almonds. Zéphir drools and complains about skipping breakfast while replying to his first customers.

Gear testing

10:48 AM – Sales team in full multitask ninja mode

Zéphir, Léo and Andrea, our three junior sales reps, juggle between calls, files, offers… and water testing.
A new foil just came out? They test it. A serviced eFoil? They test it too.
All under the sharp eye of Sam, head of sales and after-sales anchor, making sure everything runs smoothly. He practically lives here! Just like Gaëtan, who you’ll still see after 6 PM, glued to his screen or dashing between workshops. First in, last out!

12:22 PM – Lunch break (sort of)

The oven’s on, plates are circulating.
It’s joke time, testing time, and sometimes… a quick 30-minute ride escape.

But while some enjoy their break, Rémi is wrapping a last-minute foil for an urgent shipment. He wants it to leave “clean, tight, signed.” Mission accomplished by 12:59 PM. A delayed but well-deserved break.

Afternoon production

1:30 PM – Back at it. Even harder.

Afternoons are often when everything speeds up.
Chris, founder, conductor, and all-rounder, is everywhere: in the workshop, on the phone, testing, advising customers… or working on the next in-house innovation.

Partner club instructors call in. Tomorrow’s photo shoot is locked in.
A custom board ships to Spain. A foil is tuned for a REVO test at 5 PM.
Everything is alive. Everything is precise. Everything is in sync.

6:10 PM – The best part of the day begins

The light fades, but no one is really packing up.
Chris, Gaëtan and Sam meet up — as usual — in the water, joined by Zak, Léo, and Zéphir.
Not for work. Or maybe just a little.
They test. They fly. They laugh. They analyze.
It’s their way to end the day. Gliding. Together. Naturally.

PWR-Foil team jobs

There you go! A day at PWR-Foil looks like this. Well… today!

Because tomorrow will be a little different: a new prototype to test, a board to finish, a customer to help, an idea to capture, some packages to ship.

But what doesn’t change is what keeps the house running: jobs that are sometimes unknown, often multitasking, always essential.

Come on, let us take you behind the scenes of the ride, where the emotion starts long before you stand on your board.

The 8 hidden jobs behind your ride

What you don’t see… but that makes all the difference.

At PWR-Foil, a premium French eFoil manufacturer, a dedicated team works daily to turn your electric riding dreams into real sensations.

From ideas to gliding, from screws to smiles, here are the 8 key jobs that literally build your sessions.

R&D

R&D – “We draw tomorrow”

  • What we really do: imagine, prototype, test, refine… and start over again.
  • Our pride: when a board you love comes from a test idea sketched at 10 PM on a napkin.

Fun fact: The REVO PRO board was born from a napkin doodle during an evening brainstorm.

Production

Production – “We turn ideas into eFoils”

  • What we really do: assemble with precision, calibrate to the millimeter, ensure glide from the moment it leaves the shop.
  • Our pride: knowing every eFoil leaves perfectly balanced, ready to fly.
After-Sales

After-Sales – “We treat your gear like our own”

  • What we really do: listen, diagnose, repair, reassure.
  • Our pride: when a client says “I didn’t expect this level of support.”

Fun fact: Thank you for the treats: candies, tea, Corsican specialties… we love them!

Logistics

Logistics – “We race against time”

  • What we really do: manage flows, anticipate peaks, ship worldwide.
  • Our pride: shipping a foil from Perpignan to Oslo — delivered in 36 hours, ready to ride.
Communication

Communication – “We give wings to ideas”

  • What we really do: tell stories, create, share, connect.
  • Our pride: when one of our posts gives you the urge to escape — with us.
Testing

Testing – “We ride for you (and for science)”

  • What we really do: validate every foil, every board, every tweak.
  • Our pride: when a tiny adjustment completely changes your glide experience.
Photo/Video

Photo / Video – “We capture the moment it all lifts off”

  • What we really do: freeze emotion, perfect light, the right move.
  • Our pride: when your picture becomes your new profile photo.
International

International Development – We speak eFoil in 5 languages

  • What we really do: support clubs, understand markets, share the PWR-Foil culture worldwide.
  • Our pride: seeing a new country launch its first PWR-Foil base.

In summary: every ride is a team effort

At PWR-Foil, every detail matters.
Every person, gesture, and passion contributes to what you feel once you're up and flying.

We ride together. But more than anything, we build together the sensations you feel in flight.
