We open the introductions with one of our latest recruits, Gaetan Noguer, PWR-Foil's Production Manager. Learning to Fly: Gaetan's First Experience on an E-Foil

When he tested an e-foil for the first time, Gaetan was amazed by the unique sensation of lightness and freedom, combining the pleasures of flying and surfing. Although he doesn't come from a board sports background, he quickly adapted to this new discipline. ‘From the very first session, I was able to stand up on the board and do a few short take-offs. However, it was during the second session that I really took off, mastering the basic principles and flying more steadily.’ For Gaetan, learning to fly an e-foil was an incomparable experience, perfectly illustrating the magic of this revolutionary sport.

Working closely together

As head of production and logistics, Gaetan ensures that everything runs smoothly. He also works closely with the technical teams to improve products, incorporating customer feedback to maximise efficiency and maintain a high level of quality. At the moment, his team is particularly busy with the testing of the new Revo model, a product that Gaetan believes is not far from perfect.

A Favourite Flying Partner

When it comes to flying, Gaetan particularly enjoys sharing his sessions with Léo. Their approach is more about fun than technique, making every outing on the water a moment of pure bliss. Léo, with his positive attitude, is always willing to ride, adding a touch of conviviality and camaraderie to their sessions.

My perfect e-foil would have a board of around 5 feet for the balance between manoeuvrability and stability. A medium-sized front wing for stable, accessible glide, and a stabiliser optimised for tight turns and precision. All with a long-range battery, because I like long-distance rides.
