An exceptional experience for e-foil enthusiasts

We love organising efoil races for you. We're always on the lookout for great events so you can enjoy the race and the atmosphere. This year, we're inviting you to experience efoil for the first time at the Mondial du Vent on Saturday 13 April 2024.
This event comes at just the right time for those who are impatient to get their efoil out of its case. Temperatures are starting to rise and the southern sun will be out to warm you up.

A competition for all levels

It's an event for everyone, whether you're a seasoned professional with hours of flying under your belt, an intermediate looking for a challenge, or an amateur enthusiast keen to learn new techniques in a friendly atmosphere. We can guarantee that you'll come away from this event with an ear-to-ear smile.

Free test sessions

You don't ask a marathon runner to start without warming up, do you? That's why we've included an hour's warm-up for your machines, but also for your physical condition. You'll be free to navigate your e-foil in the Mediterranean waters, a new playground for some. The area will be marked by buoys and our safety team will be patrolling in Redwoodpaddle stand-up paddles and e-foils just in case.

Who will start first?

Once you've warmed up, let's get down to business with your electric foil. The time trials will take place in the order of your race numbers. The time you achieve in this test will determine your order of passage for the second round. You'll be lying on your e-foil and as soon as the horn sounds, off you go! Each participant will have two attempts and the best time of the two will be taken. Please note that you may only fall twice during each trial. If your e-foil falls more than twice, you will automatically be disqualified for the round in progress.

What is the Mondial du Vent?

For its 27th edition, the Mondial du Vent will be taking place in Leucate-La Franqui, hosting the only French leg of the Wingfoil GWA World Cup! The most talented practitioners of this discipline will be gathering in the land of the Tramontane, promising a captivating spectacle for the public.

Le Mondial du Vent also offers a family experience with a host of entertaining events, initiation sessions and demonstrations of skateboarding, BMX and mountain bike trials, as well as open-air concerts...

Our recommendations for this test

All e-foils are welcome for this race. However, we'd like to point you in the direction of two sporty models that will enable you to shine during your events. These are, of course, the Pro Carbon Biax range, available in two colours. The Black Pro Carbon Biax, which needs no introduction, and the newcomer, the famous DEEP Green Pro Carbon Biax. To maximise your speed, there's nothing better than the sport battery to lighten your e-foil as much as possible and make very tight turns.
